We’re always looking for work here at The Reel, and your chances of being considered for the next issue are far higher if you let us know about you and your work!

  Call for Entry

Got a commercial that needs to be seen, a short that makes your eyes water or a promo that will rock our socks off? Then send it over! We’re constantly after new work and are currently compiling our May edition.

To make sure that your work is considered and put on the top of our pile, here are some general pointers:

a)  Email either Chris or Jamie before or on the day of airing (we are good at keeping secrets, promise!)
b)  Have press release, credits and clearance ready and to us with the work
c)  Last but not least (this is the truly important bit) upload the work on to our FTP site - details upon request. We accept the following files:
Video – MPEG2
Video format: PAL 720x576 or NTSC 720x480
Aspect Ratio: 4:3 or 16:9
Field Dominance: Progressive
Mode: VBR
Average Bit Rate: 6.2 Mbits
Maximum Bit Rate: 7.7 Mbps
Audio 16bit 48kHz or 44kHz Stereo

Deadline date: 12th June 2008
