    BACK TO THE FUTURE

No, don’t get over-excited, it’s not a screening of THE BEST FILM EVER MADE, rather a pretty special sounding selection of Silent Science Fiction & Futuristic films from 1900-1920s by the folk at Film Friends Forever.

Here’s what they have to say about the screening: ‘As we say farewell to the Noughties and some of us begin to think about what we'll be calling the next decade (apparently the Teenies?) we take a look at how the film pioneers from a 100 years ago thought we would be living our lives today.
We'll be screening a selection of Silent Science Fiction & Futuristic films from the 1900's to 1920's. Modern musical entertainment will be provided by specially selected bands / DJs.

    IF YOU COULD COLLABORATE...

If You Could Collaborate is a lottery and arts council funded exhibition now in its fourth year.

Aiming to provide a platform for the finest creatives from all over the world and question their conventional working methods and outcomes, contributors are challenged to produce something a little unexpected. If you could collaborate does this by requesting contributors to work with a partner of their choosing from any discipline, profession or background.

There is no brief to answer, or format to honour – the only limit being the enterprise and imagination of the artists involved, and a liberal 12 month deadline. Below is a fab entry from Roel and Job Wouters. Job  is a  Typographer and the pair have combined to create a film of a new spray-painting machine called the Rainbow gun (based on the original design from graffiti artist Daniel Tagno). Check out the colour co-ordinated paint and shirts... Utter class!!
